What is Leadership Academy?

Leadership Academy is a year-long journey for young adults ages 18–30 in Raleigh, North Carolina, designed to shape leaders who know who they are and why they’re called. Meeting two days a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, this isn’t just a course — it’s a season of intentional growth.

Founded in 2009 in the United Kingdom, Leadership Academy was created to raise up the next generation of leaders. Since then, graduates have gone on to plant churches and lead movements across the world, carrying what they learned far beyond the classroom.

While you’ll grow in your understanding of the Bible and the Church, Leadership Academy goes deeper. It’s about discovering who God has called you to be — strengthening your character, sharpening your leadership, and equipping you to live with purpose, conviction, and faith wherever you’re sent.

Our Academy Directors in the US and UK bring decades of church leadership, pioneering spirit, and a passion for raising the next generation of leaders.

Josh and Rose Snowzell
Academy Director

Josh and Rose have led and taught in the local church for over 20 years, first at their sending church in Hereford, UK, and now as church planters in Raleigh, where it has grown from 15 to over 500 in recent years. They have been apart of the Academy since the start, they love God’s Word and are passionate about raising a new wave of leaders and difference makers.

Luke and Sophie Hancorn
UK Academy Directory

Luke and Sophie have been building and planting churches since they were 19, serving in the UK, Uganda, Cambodia, and Belgium. After marrying at 22, they pioneered churches in India. They’re passionate about building the local church, raising leaders, and helping people discover their God-given calling and impact the world.
